Back in France.

I am already i my house, I can't stop telling everyone to do the same as I did and I am very enthusiast of doing another trip for volunteering abroad. I think it helped me to gain a lot of experience even though it was for a very short time.
I know that if you make a trip and want to know more about the country or volunteer in more foundations you would need much more time. It's right. But most of the people don't have so many time. They do it to do something different and to escape from the routine.
I think something very good would be to do it while a gap year, but I know that not everyone can.
Besides, if it's for a short time, it's easy to find somewhere to live but not if it is for a entire year.

I would like to repeat it in Uruguay but also in other countries to learn about other cultures. I think the best part of all is the fact that every single person you help with these foundation seems to be very grateful and there is nothing that makes me happier than making others happy.
If you are thinking of doing some volunteering abroad, stop thinking and do it. There is nothing you can lose, you can only learn a lot,  gain experience and having a good time! You won't regret it.
I t doesn't matter what age you are, you can always help.
So I hope this blog will help you and I will continue making plans of my future volunteering trip!
See you soon in my next blog for my next trip!
xoxo
Animales sin hogar. (13/06)

I am already in the end of the trip, i can't believe it! I am more and more sure that this was the best idea of all time. I don't want to leave, I am already planning coming soon but for more time, because among all the things I learned here, I understood that two weeks are not enough.

This last four days I went to the foundation Animales sin hogar volunteering.
Besides helping people, one of the best things you can do is to help animals.

This foundation was created on November 16, 2003. It's a private non-profit Legal Status, composed exclusively of volunteers. The Spanish name means Homeless Animals.
The organization was created to help homeless animals, giving them somewhere to live, with food and health.

Today they are responsible for an average of 372 dogs, 180 cats and 175 horses in total counting pigs, cows, etc. There are 750 animals on the farm today. These are in perfect health, living free, and each has a place to sleep. They receive balanced food and sanitize the place daily. They also have veterinary care, vaccins, drugs, and males and females are castrated.

So this four days I went to this farm and helped taking care of all the animals.
It's incredible how even though they are animals they also very grateful and show their love to us.
It was very hard for me to leave cause I really like animals and I will miss them.
I will put some pictures I took during this days there and then I will sleep cause I am very tired.

Un techo para mi país. (09/06)

Resultado de imagen de Techo para mi pais uruguayIt's already Tuesday of the second week!! I can't believe half of the trip already finished.  I don't regret at all having made this trip, it has been one of the greatest experiences of my life. I knew
incredible people with big hearts that only thought of helping others.I spent these last days volunteering for Un Techo Para Mi País.It's an organization operating in America Latina and the Caribbean, which seeks to overcome the poverty by actions by its people and young volunteers. The main objective is to overcome poverty and as it's vision says, have a just and poverty-free society where all people have opportunities to develop their skills, exercise and enjoy their rights.

During these days we made a lot of things.
Resultado de imagen de Techo para mi pais uruguay The first three days we went to the department Canelones to help with some constructions to the people in need. We were a big group of people that was leaded by an architect that instructed us how to build the houses.
I learned a lot because I really didn't know anything about building houses. I think the best of all was seeing the people of which we built their house, they were very happy and grateful and that made us happy too. We shared all the meals with them and thats how we learned a lot of their lives. They all had different stories to tell, they all lived hard lives but didn't loose the hope.

The fourth day we went to the principals streets of Montevideo asking for money in name of the foundation to collect as many as possible to afford all the materials of the constructions.

I think this was another great experience and I am impatient to know what's next!
